Apple themed Ten Frame Cards with numbers 1 - 20

These ten frames are great for practice counting and representing numbers with manipulatives. We love using the mini erasers from the Target dollar section for this activity, but any small manipulative will work!

This resource includes three options for play.

Option 1:

Full page ten frame with number cards. Child takes a number card, places it in the empty square, then counts and places the corresponding number of manipulatives on the ten frames. Repeat with next number.

Option 2:

Half page ten frame cards. Child counts and places the corresponding number of manipulatives on each card.

Option 3:

Numeral and ten frame match. Children match the apple number card with the corresponding ten frame card.

Note: Depending on the child's skill level, consider only giving them a portion of the cards. This is a great way to help your child gain confidence and knowledge without feeling overwhelmed.
