This printable Ghost themed activity is more fun than spooky. It includes an uppercase/Lowercase letter sorting activity as well as an uppercase/lowercase letter matching activity.

ACTIVITY 1 - Upper/Lowercase Letter Sort

Option 1:

The Child will use the sorting mats to sort uppercase and lowercase letters.

Option 2:

The child will sort the letters by placing them in a line on the floor or sort them within a pocket chart.

Option 3:

The child will match the uppercase and lowercase Letters.

Extension:

The child can complete one of the included worksheets. There are two to allow for differentiation.

ACTIVITY 2 - Spooky Letters

Place the letter cards inside of a jar or bag of some sort. The child will pick a ghost card and say the letter and or sound. Then they will find the letter on the worksheet and mark off the letter by coloring, using a bingo dotter, or placing a manipulative/object over the letter.

A FEW OPTIONS:

• Use the uppercase letter cards and use the matching uppercase recording sheet.
• Use the lowercase letter cards with the matching lowercase recording sheet.
• Use uppercase letters with the lowercase recording sheet.
• Use lowercase letters with the uppercase recording sheet.
